Not romantic, medical kind. It feels like an foreign body is pushing on the heart. My EKG is totally normal, and cardiologists think it's in my head.

  1. find a new dr

  2. Wow. You might be having a heart attack. Is the left side of your body numb?

  3. is it an ongoing pain....does the pain persist over time, ore does it go away after a little bit?  do you feel light headed or have trouble breathing?  if you other vitals seem normal besides the pain,  it could just be heart burn...but depending on your age i would get a second opinion

  4. Some common causes of chest pain:

    Fracture

    Heart problems (called angina)

    Panic attacks

    Acute anxiety

nerve damage (from a fall, trauma)

    Acid reflux

    Stomach Ulcers

    Gallbladder malfunction

    Muscle Cramp

    Lung infections (bronchitis, pneumonia)

I'm not trying to be a smart ***, but it is best that you know there are tons of causes. I have had a lot of these tests done, and it turned out to be the one I thought it was in the first place. You know your body better than anyone in the world. You decide what you want to get tested first. Good Luck!

  5. Have it looked at.  A broken heart can cause a heart attack.  Get a second opinion soon.
