I have pain still 3 weeks after having tooth 2 out. It's only when I touch it though. What's going on?

may still be tender there but if you carry on having pain go back to your dentist. I had a similar problem and had to go back about a month after because fragments of my tooth was still in the gum so if it still hurts get it checked out!

I read somewhere where it can take a bit to heal , i had a molar and wisdom tooth pulled 2 weeks ago and still have alittle swelling and a small knot/lump on my jaw , dentist told me to finish up meds and everything looked fine , just give it time !!! Try over the counter pain meds for the pain.. Good luck

It's just sore, I asked my dentist when I had 5 teeth pulled at once and my mouth was sore for 4 days..
