I have people in my contact list I cant remove HELP?

I have people in my contact list I want to remove but I get two things either When i click on their name it gives me an error message that i have not given it a correct URL or if their page opens there is nowhere to click on remove. Has anyone else had this problem and know how to fix it?

Try this:First right click on their icon, scroll down to stealth settings and change them so that you appear permanently offline. Then click on messenger, top left on the messenger window , scroll down to preferences, click and scroll down to ignore list, click and in the next window add them to your ignore list and click o.k. Then go back right click on their icon and delete them. This way they are history

Don't click on their name.

- Click your "My Friends" link at the top of your 360 space

- Select the box to the left of their name.

- Click the "Remove" link on their line.

- A new page will appear. Make sure the "Remove ______ from my Yahoo! Address Book contact list as well." is selected. Then, click the "Yes, Remove This Friend" button

However, it's likely that the person is no longer technically a connected friend and has been demoted to "Favorite" status.

- Click your "My Friends" link at the top of your 360 space

- Click the "Favorites" link on the left side

- Select the box to left of the person's name

- Click the "Remove from your Favorites" button at the top or bottom left of the page

NOTE: On your Home page's Contact List, Friends are denoted by the blue person icon and Favorites are denoted by the green cross. Sometimes no icon shows up for people who are deleted from the system or have deleted you as a friend.
