Hi. I have peptic ulcer. I have been taking omeprazole 20mg for over a month. Now i can feel the heartburning has decreased very much. I haven't drunk any beers and carbonated drinks for the last 3 months. It took quite an effort. Now, i would like to know if i can drink beer after peptic ulcer healed. And do have any idea how long it takes peptic ulcer to heal. The doctor diagnosed the peptic ulcer with "C" grade almost 5 months ago, by endoscoping. By the way, is cheese bad for peptic ulcer and GERD. Sometimes when i eat cheeseburger at MacDonald's it seems to me i am having a bit more problem. Thank you.

  1. I have the same problem. I like to drink and I like to smoke even though I know it's bad for the ulcer. What these two said is completely off topic and it shows their stupidity and inability to comprehend what they read. They are morons.
