i just got them sunday, and people are already telling me that it will make my vision worse, and that i would really need to wear glasses, after wearing them for a while. i had bought them at a swap meet for $5. i just really love to wear glasses, and hope it won't damage my eyes

  1. if you see better without the glasses on then they will damage your eyes over a period of time. However, if they are just frames with plastic or glass in place of the lenses (fake glasses) then obviously they won't hurt your eyes because it is just like looking out a window.

  2. THEY WONT. I WORE NON PRESCRIPTION GLASSES A WHILE BACK AND I ENJOYED WEARING THEM. THEY'RE JUST PLAIN LENSES. LIKE LOOKING THREW GLASS. YOU'LL BE FINE

  3. As long as the glasses do not have vision correction lenses in them and are not distorting the image you are seeing you should be fine. If you are wearing + or - glasses you will damage your eyesight. Go see an optometrist about it if you really want to know and you may also be able to buy your very own custom glasses with 0 prescription!

  4. Of course they won't damage your eyes.

If they are plain lenses, it's like looking through a window.

If they are really cheap lenses with distortion in them , they will start making your eyes sore, and you will stop wearing them , or get quality lenses installed.

  5. They will damage your eyes, because it is like wearing a magnifying glass on each eye. The eye will get confused adn shut down a lilttle. Hence blurry vision. Get the fake ones from Clarie's.
