I have permanent residenceship from Canada. Do i need to apply for a visa for Germany for touristic visit?

i have a turkish passport and canadian permanent residenceship as well. but i didn't get my PR card yet. however, I got my confirmation of PR in my passport. Do I still need to apply for a touristic visa for Germany?

  1. Well your nationality is important ,not where you reside, so in your case you would need a tourist visa. Beware the problem not having a PR card when you come back to Canada !!!!

    I'm German with PR in Canada and it's difficult to come back without the PR card !!!!!

    Contact Missisauga for your PR card !!! Tell them it;s an emergency and they will speed up the process.

  2. Doesn't matter what country you're a permanent resident off, all they will care about anywhere in the world is what country you have a passport of. If you're a citizen of Turkey, you WILL need a visa for Germany. It should be easy enough to obtain though. =)

  3. just for a visit usually does not require a visa,but you might want to double-check with a german embassy close to you , they will be happy to tell you exactly what you need to do
