  1. First to correct all the errors:

The See Clearly Method is based primarily on the belief that eye muscles are weak and need to be exercised. It was created by people who wanted a part of Bates success and tried to copy him without consulting him or studying his work. It's marketing plays on people's intuition that vision changes and that we can make it worse or better. The See Clearly Method has nothing to do with natural perfect eyesight. In fact people with blurry vision exert a lot more energy in straining, squinting, diffusing. Eye exercises(eye pushups, eye aerobics, eye yoga) do not work and are a complete waste of time.

Way too many people talk about the Bates Method as if it were about eye exercises. The Bates Method is about the principles of natural perfect eyesight. It is about unlearning the incorrect vision habits, reintegrating the correct vision behaviors, and undoing the damage of artificial corrections and blurr. Natural Eyesight Improvement is the Bates Method with the added experience of many great Bates teachers over the years. Eye exercises and people who talk as if they know the Bates Method are the real sham.

Nutrition is very important but it does not change the way we use our eyes, mind and body together.

Congratulations Jacob B on your succes. You are right, people who wear artificial corrections(glasses, contacts) have no idea how diminished their vision is, how little they see, and how crippled they are.

  2. Supposedly the See Clearly Method works, but it is very expensive. I bought it but never really tried it...

  3. There are other other options that may aid your eyesight.  It can't be guaranteed, but it may help.  First you have to check to see if you're getting the proper nutrion, poor eyesight maybe due to some lack of the proper nutrients.  Also eye excercises may help build up some of the eye muscles and could possibly help with poor vision.  Attached are links that have some interesting content for eye health, eye excercises and vitamins for eyes.

  4. No. Sorry. Get used to glasses or contacts or consider surgery.

  5. dr william bates and his work is not a sham i am improving my sight right now trying to rid myself of glasses...if you want to be blind then be blind.
