you need adaware or some kind of spam filtering...unless you have these you will get all kinds of c**p.  sounds like a good virus protection may be a good idea too.

Not good, sounds as if you have a worm. Notify anyone on your list to not click on any links sent from your account.

Do an online scan, remove or repair as they indictate.
