I have problem in receiving emails . I couldn't receive my emails for a couple of days and now it's about 12 mb .

when I click on send/receive the process of sending completes but it sticks on receiving process .

I have checked all the settings with the other email that I have on another computer , both settings are the same but when I test account setting this email , it shows that "send test e-mail message " and " log onto incoming mail server " have error .

what can be the problem ?????

  2. could be a couple of things.  On the computer that works, check what the incoming /outgoing ports are set to and then check if it's the same on the pc that doesn't work.  (go into your account settings and click the <more settings>).  Generally they're set to port 110 and port 25.  While you're at it, check ALL the other settings under the More Settings as well.

if they are exactly the same, and you're positive the <password> you've put in on your account is correct then you might try turning off your Windows Firewall (temporarily) just to see if possibly it's blocking your outlook from accessing the internet.  To do this, go to your Control Panel, select Windows Firewall and turn it off.  If turning your firewall off works, then go to the "Exceptions" tab in the firewall and add Outlook as an exception. Then turn your firewall back on.
