I have problems drinking water......?

I have been trying to drink a glass of water before each meal becasue I heard that it can help you lose weight. I also started doing it becasue i heard it helps your skin . I am having rele big trouble with it. you are supposed to drink 8 cups of water a day and im having trouble drinking 3. is there a way that can make it easier to drink water. is there something i can substitute it with? thanx for all your help.

  1. Actually we are not suppose to drink 8 glasses. That is outdated and inaccurate information.

    For proper hydration we need 1 ounce for every 2 pounds of body weight plus 8 more for every 20 minutes of exercise. With hot/dry days and climates even more is needed. We can get water from many foods and other drinks. However drinks with caffeine or alcohol do not count as they actually dehydrate us. In fact more water has to be consumed to offset the dehydrating effects.

    As far as drinking it before meals it is actually much better to drink 2 glasses before eating. That is what they made us do in basic training and it worked real well.

    You can replace it with other drinks but make sure it is not caffeine ro alcohol. Don't use too much sugar either or you are just defeating the purpose of your weight loss. All I can say is just drink it. Sorry.


  2. I like to carry a bottle of water with me wherever I go, this makes it easier to drink 6-8 cups because water is always accessible. Fruits and vegetables are also great for helping you meet your 8 cups of water per day. Fruits and vegetables have low calories and are high in fiber which are two great features for losing weight. I suggest eating more watermelon because it is loaded with water. Keep in mind that drinking the wrong type of water and too much water can be a health hazard.   3. i have the same prob... i add sugar-free crystal light  to my water... its the only way i can drink and get in my 6-8 glasses a day.

  4. Flavored water at the stores are good or there is powdered mixes with absolutely nothing in them. Just make sure you check the nutrition lable to make sure theres nothing in them. Good luck.
