  1. The first inhabitants of the Americas came around 10,000 years ago from Asia through the Bering Strait (Russia/Alaska) when it was covered in ice. Some of the first Indians who settled in what is now the US are the Makaws whose tribes still exist in the Olympic Peninsula in Washington State.

  2. HAHA!! What redneck school did you get an education from? Your spelling teacher must have been drunk on moonshine.Heres a hint.Try learning a little history on your country.Ever heard of a site called GOOGLE.  Go to it and look things up before asking such a dumbass question.

  3. There is no real definative proof one way or the other on how anyone got to the americas. Some theories even include sea fareing people who followed the tides in primitive boats, much like the ancient Hawaiians.

The most common theory is the land bridge, and the thoery is not that it was made of ice, rather the water levels had lowered because of an ice age and exposed slivers of land connectiong asia to north america, animals began to migrate across this pass and the humans who used the animals to survive followed.

And as for being called Indians, there is no real answer to that, I happen to be an American INDIAN. Some people have a prefrence one way or the other, but its best to avoid the PC police and say Native americans.

Which is actualy strange because the original "natives" were asians, so to be politicaly politicaly correct I am a native asian whos ancestors migrated to the american continent... I hate PC.

Oh and to make this more confusing there are thoeries that people from africa (egypt specificaly) also ended up in the americas and brought the ideas of Pyramid buiilding, thanks to Thor Hererdahl's voyages, but even he thought that idea was a little loony.  ~ yahoo answerer stone k~

  4. It is difficult to determine where the Native Indians migrated from considering they were actually the first people to exist in the United States.

  5. This was their country until the white man stole it.

  6. which "Indians" are u talking about and WHAT?!

  7. You don't remember Cochise?  Sitting Bull?  How about the Pilgrims arriving here and being greeted by the Indians?  How about Columbus coming to the Americas and meeting Indians who already lived here?  Oh boy, you really need to catch up on your American and world history.

  8. They are American Indians and they belong here.  They might as well have casinos, and make a good living afterall we took everything away from their ancestors.  How do you feel about the real immigrants who own everything else?
