I have question about the Netherlands?

My Nanna is doing some researching on our family tree and has traced some if back to The Netherlands, the province of Drenthe to be exact. Does anybody know where I could find an abundance of history and any kind of Misc. Info about Drenthe(preferablly a website). Thanks bunches!

The links of layman would only work if you are fluent in dutch. Here is a link in English, so you can actuallyread them instead of using a dictionary and translate very single word. There is only a wiki site, all the others won't tell you much.
