1. How do you decide who you curse around or talk about personal stuff i.e. feelings or s*x? If someone doesn't curse do you still curse around them?

2. I'm a black female and have notice a lot of white women wear wedding rings but not our women. Why? What do they do differently?

  1. It depends on the level of comfort and/or respect I feel towards a particular person.  If I am very comfortable, I will be more likely to speak openly, and curse. If I do not have a personal relationship, or am with a person in a position of authority (my boss, professor, etc) I feel for me, it would be inappropriate to speak about personal matters to them--not to mention ot would be extremely uncomfortable.

If I have a lot of respect for someone such as my Mom (even though I am 32), I try my darnedest not to use curse words.

If I am in a professional setting or a setting where it is inappropriate (work, church, school) I DEFINITELY try not to curse.

I also NEVER curse around children, including my daughter!

  2. 1. You don't really 'decide' to curse, it just comes out sometimes when you are mad or upset. I try not to. I never curse around my parents, at work, around kids. I talk about personal stuff with my husband, he's my best friend, the closest person I have. I have a good friend (a guy), I talk about my feelings with him, other personal stuff, just not my private and s*x life. I have couple of good girl friends I can discuss any of my personal stuff with.

    2. I've seen a lot of black women (the same as white, asian, hispanic women) with wedding rings, so I really don't know what you mean

  3. I swear around anyone and everyone. To me they're just words, used to vehminantely express yourself.

I only talk about personal stuff with people I know I can trust.

And I don't know, I guess we (white females) wear the rings as a symbol of our love and marriage. Wearing the ring is like a promise of loyalty and faithfulness.
