If i file does it afffect my husband too or can i do it by myself??

If the debts are in both your names, they will go after both of you, so if you file alone they will go after him for the payment. If the debts are in your name only, then only you would need to file. You will need to seek a good bk attorney in your area, most will see you on a free consult. They will need to see your last 6 months of income, assets, debts and last 4 yrs of taxes, after reviewing they will be able to tell you what you qualify for.
