I have "Flector Patch" (diclofenac epolamine topical patch). Are they generic fentynol or what are they?

  1. The Flector patch contains the drug diclofenac epolamine, which is an anti-inflammatory drug. It reduces inflammation and pain. Diclofenac is the same drug that is in Voltaren and Cataflam.

    Fentanyl is a different drug that is also a painkiller but not anti-inflammatory. It is not in the Flexor patch.


  2. diclofenac is a NSAID, in other words think of it like ibuprofen (advil). It is a drug that works on inflammation.

    Flector is not related in anyway to fentanyl / duragesic.
