  1. Web sites remember who you are through the use of files called "cookies." In order for Yahoo or other sites to remember you, you have to have cookies enabled. If you check the "remember me" box it will install a cookie on your computer that will automatically log you in on your next visit. But even this will expire in a few days, and you will have to log in again, thus installing another cookie.

To enable cookies, look at your browser Preferences or Options screen. Cookies are usually found under the Security Settings.

There is some danger to enabling cookies as certain unscrupulous web sites will put malicious cookies on your computer, but security software can help prevent this problem. Most people find it worth the trouble to leave cookies enabled.

  2. go to your personal settings, you will be able to set it where you can stay signed in for two weeks at a time.

sign on to yahoo and then find your personal settings, yahoo will walk you through it, yahoo is great I use yahoo for my business and my home.........
