I have re-downloaded version 9

Question

I have re-downloaded version 9 on my new replacement computer. I have entered the proper key provided with the box and documentation. I go to launch the software with a disc of my own in the drive. I want to upload a personal video I shot of my sons performance. I get a MPEG2 Authorization pop-up. It goes through the process and a message comes back with: Authenticating MPEG2, Unsuccessful Activation. Without this successfully going through I cant use the tool I've purchased. Is there a work around or someone I can talk to to get this resolved?
