what happens if you can not find the nest? i have ben looking for the nest for about 2 weeks and I am still unable to locate the nest. I have 2 small children and I am unable to take them outside to play because the bees are everywhere...the front yrad, the back yard and the side yard. None of the neighbors are having any prblems. The problem is contained to my yard. What do I do besides call an exterminator?

  1. Yellow jackets are everywhere, If you dont bother them they wont bother you. If you need to rid them, look closer. They need corners, nooks, and cavities that provide shelter for there nest. Look under decks, deck benches, eaves of house, under playsets, in dense shrubs. Watch where they go. Spray  nests. Sprays avalbl at home centers. Then remove nests. Do all work at dusk when sunlight has passed. They wont see you; its safer.

  2. hi i'am do brasil quer ser minha amiga ''friend''gostaria muito de conhecer os eua aqui no brasil só se fala dai kiss my name is roseglasse bye...i don't no inglish

  3. do you have fruit trees in yard ? several things will attract them.if they are building nest in yard all you can do is watch for them-in thick grass clumps or dirt area on slope normal areas-exterminator will look for same things

  4. They usually build in the ground, in a slight embankment, or hillside. Watch where they go about sundown.  You will probably find a small hole.  Wait until after dark, put some gasoline in a small bottle, dump the gasoline down the hole, and plug it with the bottle.  No need to burn it.  It will kill the nest.
