  1. You can take brufen and paracetamol at the same time but stay within the max dosage ( brufen 200mg max 6 daily and paracetamol 500mg max 8 daily). Contact your dentist first thing in the morning. As you don't have an appointment, you  might have to wait until there is a space available.

Place a hot water bottle wrapped in a towel ( or similar heated  item) on the side of face affected tonight.

  2. Paramol is best for toothache. Only take 10-30mins to kick in. Anything else didn't really work. You'll just need to call as soon as they're open or turn up in tears like i did and they see you straight away!!!

  3. Poor thing, I know how you feel. I used oil of cloves, hot salty water as a mouth wash and a hot water bottle. Good luck.

  4. call your dentist now for appointment, try cloves see at your drug store

  5. Hold an ice pack under your jaw if it's a toothache on the bottom. This should calm the nerves down. If on the top, then try it on your cheek.I know it worked for me when I had my tonsils out. Within 5 minutes I had no pain. Of course see the dentist. Hope you can get in right away.

  6. OMG, I sympathise, your dentist should see you as an emergency first thing in the morning, usually 8.30-9.00. The best thing to do is take ibuprofen and paracetamol 2 hours apart it keeps something in your system all the time. Spirits, whisky/vodka etc help when applied directly to the gum. If your pain becomes unbearable call NHS24. Good luck.

  7. It depends how busy your dentist is and if you're a private patient or not.  If it's a dental emergency they'd see you right away but I don't think they would since it's only a tooth ache (as bad as it is) I had the same problem a few weeks ago, I had to wait a week to see the dentist and it's still sore.  I'd recommend taking nurofen because it works quickly.
