I have horrible teeth, and no insurance. I'm (nearly) suicidal over it. What can I do?

Please.

  1. go to the dentist

  2. call a dental college, the students will do the work low cost, sometimes free. don't be scared, the professors ( actual licensed dentists) are there the whole time, they do great work.

  3. Visit http://www.mybenefitsplus.com/40617802..

    Good luck!

  4. Well I have AWFUL teeth as well but I have kept them beautiful through the years despite having 7 root canals, a ttoth cut out, braces retainers, cavities, etc. Just last week I had a tooth break off! I have dental insurance now and that helps a LITTLE BIT, but not too  too much.

When I had a job that didnt offer insurance I actually took on a waitressing job a few nights a week and paid for a lot of dental work I needed done at the time. Now I have BC/BS and it isn't that great. Dental probs can be painful and are very expensive. I know how you feel. Find  a dentist that will let you make payments or maybe get a credit card to pay for some work on!

    Good luck honey!!!

  5. visit a dentist

see if they can help you out with your situation

  6. 1) There are discount programs you can join.

    2) If you live in a big city with a dnetal school nearby, you can get care from dental students (under the supervision of a dentist) for little or no cost.

    3) Depending on where you live, you can go out of the country and pay a lot less. California to Mexico is common, but many people travel farther. The quality of care is generally very good. Many dentists are American expats, and many non-Americans trained at good schools.

  7. Well if you don't have insurance one thing to try that a lot of people are doing is saving up a little and actually going into Mexico. The dentistry there is super cheap compared to the US. You don't have to fly into Mexico most just drive right across the border to dentist that is close to the border of the US. There was a nightly news article on tv about it. Some people had work done on that would've cost thousands, but in Mexico got it for a few hundred. I need a lot of work done on mine also and I'm considering it. Good Luck hun. Hope all works out!
