  1. SnoBol toilet cleaner. If that doesn't do it get this stuff called iron out. You just pour it in the water and swish it around to make sure you get all the rusty area and let it set a few minutes.

  2. I use Rust Out (Menards or Home Depot or WallyWorld).

  3. I flush the toilet and turn off the water before it can fill up.  Then I take a pumice stone (it won't scratch) and scrub the stains.  The pumice stone can be found in the foot care section at the drug store or Walmart, etc.

  4. Sno bol is the best because all you have to do is use it like you would any other toilet bowl cleaner and it gets rid of ALL stains, even rust.

  5. Are you in the UK? I've just got some stuff called "Toilet & Washroom Cleaner". It removes rust stains and limescale really well. It's made by a company called Bio-Productions Ltd but I got it from www.goochgroup.co.uk

  6. CLR is the best!!  Just force the water level down with your hand and a cloth or a plunger so the rust stains are out of the water, soak the cloth with CLR and the stains will just wipe away.  Just remember to wear gloves!!
