I love having long hair and it looks nice when ive spent 3 hours straightening it but soon goes dry and frizzy when I'm out. Has anybody got ideas on hair products that can help and also a long hair style that would help 2? I'm not sure whether to get layers or not?

  1. do you use GHD's? normally they stop hair going frizzy cos my hair sounds quite similar to yours when i leave it to dry naturally. you could try straightening serum though when straightening hair becuse it helps to stop hair going frizzy and keeps it looking sleek and smooth.

  2. use a shampoo/cond. that is anit-frizz (none of you frizness by herbal hessences) and a leave-in conitioning creme that is "smoothing" then starighten.

    layers would hel;p

  3. I have the same kind of hair as you, my hair would get huge after I brushed it, and if I didn’t brush it at all, it ended up looking messy and unkempt. I got sick of it and chopped it all off. DO NOT DO THAT. I am currently in the process of growing my hair long again (it's about shoulder length now), and I wish I'd known how to care for my hair before I cut it off, because now I know how to and I really really regret cropping it.

One day recently, I was really lazy and after showering, I ran my fingers through my hair and flicked it till it was semi dry, then just let it dry on its own. To my surprise, when I passed by a mirror a few hours later when my hair was fully dry, I had a head of beautiful bouncy ringlets, not unlike Taylor Swift's (but shorter...stupid haircut....)

I've found that if I let my hair dry naturally, it ends up in those ringlets, I just cant brush it once it's dry, because that separates the curls back into frizzy poofy waves.

Try it one day, judging from what you've told me, you've probably got the same thing. If you like it, keep doing it. Learn to love curls!

But if you don't like it, and you really really want it straight, just get your hair rebonded.

    Hope this helped!
