1. I've been seeing lots of items for the home in blue and brown. Or perhaps a light coffee color would be good.

 2. It all depends on what turns you on. Get some paint samples and compare them with the bath room tile and see which one you prefer over the others. There are no laws that say you have to use any special color combinations. The lighter colors will make the room appear larger and darker colors make a room appear smaller. Most any color will blend with blues. Be glad you are not working with some rust color etc.

 3. If you own the house, there is a paint you can use over the tiles - they use it on the TV show Designed to Sell. I personally have never used it so I don't know how durable it is. If you don't want to try this, I'd suggest painting the walls a paler shade of blue-gray, then add an accent color - red for energy, white or cream for a peaceful feeling.

 4. you could try a dark chocolate colour. Take a look at Benjamin Moore, Bittersweet Chocolate. I have used it on many projects with great sucess. It is a very rich colour and make a space look really romantic. Add a few accents when you are finished such as vanilla candles, a few different sizes. Maybe a medium wicker basket with some cream and chocolate coloured towels and hand towels. It is all in the accents. Enjoy!
