  1. Well, you won't know until next year. Keep it watered but not saturated and wait. With luck it should start sprouting new leaves once it is over the shock and able to re-establish its root system.

    good luck.

  2. its in a serious state of shock- it will take till next spring to know the damage-it should come back-keep roots damp for a few weeks

  3. I have 2 bay trees..one california bay and the other bay laurel...They do not like to be fertilized hardly at all..and they also do not like "wet feet"..the soil needs to dry out completely inbetween waterings..

  4. If the light level is a lot less then all the leaves will fall off and it might die back. If you put it in a windier or sunnier place then the leaves are drying out and will fall off and expose the stems to it and it might kill them back. ou put too much fertilizer on it then you would have burned its roots. If yIf you overwatered it and the roots died back, and then you thought it needed _more_ water and killed more roots and rotted them then it might be doomed. If that is the case then try removing all of the dirt, all of it not just most of it. Then repot it in brand new store bought sterile potting moist potting mix and don't water it. That way the roots can get some oxygen. If you could find rooting hormone and coat the roors with that then that would help it considerably.
