i have recd. email re: lottery winning from EURO-AFRO-ASIA SWEEPTAKES LOTTERY INTERNATIONAL program held on the 30th of May 2006, in Amsterdam NETHERLANDS. this is true or false. i hv given an answer to this mail. now tell me what to i do. i given them my address and contect no. there is any harm for me. plz answer me and help me. thnx.

Never trust that kind of stuff, especially if you receive it in an e-mail.  Did you ever participate in that lottery program?  If you didn't, it's definitely a scam otherwise they would have contacted you by mail or phone because they already have your information.

I get similar emails every day, usually the UK lottery, or something from someone in Nigeria or Ghana who want to put 18,000,000,000,000 in my bank account because i'm the closest relative of blah blah yadda yadda.  All they want is as much info they can get from you to use you in one way or another (i.e. getting ahold of your bank accounts, having you send them money, having you send them packages of merchandise that has been stolen, etc...)

Don't entertain such messages, just ignore them. They all are fraud.

Since you have already written to them, ignore any further communication from them or even from any other source relating to the subject matter.
