threatening to "make me go away and it would be pretty easy" and, being a well known individual in the entertainment industry how seriously should I take this? I now have insomnia and the number was not blocked, but displayed in those texts. I have not provoked any hate other than being well in the modeling industry and perhaps the occasional drama related. I really appreciate advice thanks guys.

  1. Do you live in a country where the cops are not corrupt?

    Yes?

then call them so they can do their job.

    No?

    Good luck.

  2. okay, first, i haven't heard of you (no offense). second, its one of two options: either its just some stupid joke similar to the junk mail you might receive on an email but never take seriously or it might be serious. i don't know whether people have any reason to hate you that much but to be on the safe side, call your cell phone provider and let them know the story. tell them you don't know who it is and they're sending threatening messages etc. most of the time, they will have some policy or something but sometimes they might not be able to do much. if you feel that you haven't done anything offending to anyone enough to hate you that much, you should be fine and just relax about it

  3. Hey. Some of my friends got some of those creepy text what they all are are chain texts that cell phone users use, and sometimes even cell companies make them so when you pass them on, you have to pay the 10c or however much it. Just know that you are not alone, tell your parents and they will contact the police or some type of organization that is involved in computer safety and all that kind of stuff. They will be able to track down the person who is sending you these threatening text messages. Hope this helped! ♥

  4. "They" want you to over react and be frightened.  That is the whole "game".  If someone wanted you dead, they would just do it.  One possible source of your threats is an English teacher...sorry, bad joke.

I really don't think that a serious threat would have a number attached that could be traced.  It is most likely a prank, but if you are truly worried, go to the police or hire a PI or body guard.  In your line of work, it's a write off!

  5. Dude, how is this a physics question?

  6. If the threats become more serious go to the police. Change your number and only give the new one to people you trust.

  7. This might help

Or use a friend's cell to call the number and see who answers.

  8. Sounds like someone loves you.

  9. I seriously don't see what this has to do with physics.  Although maybe thats just me...
