I have recentaly taken over California and it is now part of my new nation. where should the capital be built?

do you know of any good spots in california where I should build my new nation's capital? i don't want to use a city that has already been constructed for my capital. i want to build my own capital.

Greetings!  First of all, I would like to extend my hand in congratulating you for taking over the world's fourth largest economy.

Second,I would strongly advise keeping your capitol in Sacramento.  It is the largest city that is most centrally located to all areas of California and has easy access to any part of your state....ERRR...nation.

To build further north will destroy priceless resources that the southland needs to survive.  To build it in the southland, you would have a civil war from the people in the north who send the southland their resources so they can live.

Why bothering with a new capital when you can keep Sacramento?

Merced, CA.  Its away from San Francisco and located close to the center of the your new nation.  Do you plan on changing the name of your capital?

Merced would be a great capital.

Someplace in the Mohave desert.  Your capital will fill with politicians and we need to keep them someplace away from normal folks.
