44k.....i need to get a job to supplement our household income to help with the rising expenses of our home. If I did this I would bring home around 19k after taxes.....will i lose my grants at this level of income?

  1. If you collect the grant before you start working then no.  Also, they go by the previous years income.  The new income won't really effect you into next year.


  2. You don't deserve that money. You lazy goldbricker. Help your husband out and go get a job!

  3. Your Pell is based on the previous years income, so if it did... it wouldn't effect it until Fall of 09 and beyond.

    Any increase in income more than the usual cost of living increases usually effects Pell and FSEOG.

  4. Possibly or it may be reduced. This is why people get the grants and take out the school loan. It pays the bills while you go to school.
