I have recently bought 2 terrapins and my tank keeps steaming up with condensation?

I have recently bought 2 baby yellow bellied slider turtles each measuring 5-7cm each, the tank is 80cm in length, 34cm width, 50cm depth so is plenty big enough for them, I have set up the tank and equipment correctly and the turtles seem happy enough but I seem to keep getting a gathering of condensation on the upper section of the tank (the bit that’s out of water) I have checked the temperature of the water and that is correct. Could someone please tell me why this is happening, is it normal, and is there any way of resolving the matter?

Lift the cover to get a bit of air-flow through there.

Steve its to warm in there sounds like, is the temp at 75 degrees?

Not normal.

Is the heat lamp 40 or 60 watt? Is it placed 12" from the turtle?
