I have recently changed my name by D pole will my previous name be on my new passport and new driving license?

im British, have a full uk license and british passport.. my passport is still valid in my old name but i need to send it of with the certificate to change it. but what i need to know is will my previous name be mentioned on the new passport and also who do the passport agency inform when a name change is done?? who do i need to inform myself??

Only your new name will appear on your new passport.

You would also have to inform your bank/s to have any bank accounts you have, changed into your new name.

no, i changed mine, but if you get arrested by the police your recognised by your original name but i never tell them my original name i let them work it out

If you've changed it by deed poll, and sent stuff away to have the name changed then it will come back with your new name of course.
