  1. not really...   calories are calories.. just in a vegetarian diet.. those calories  will not be empty calories.

you'll lose something but nothing too terribly substantial.

  2. If you will consume lot of vegetables and fruits and reduce fat and refined sugar definitely you will change in yourself.

  3. I became a vegetarian a few years back, and I really did not lose much weight until I cut out the carbs and refined sugars. Plus, since you are cutting out meat, you will need to find another source of protein. Tofu is good, but also eat lots of beans and lentils. But if you want to lose weight you must exercise. A change in diet is not sufficient to lose weight.

  4. f you wantto lose wight.....spaceout your meals and dont eat after 6pm....drink plenty of water and do this video every day http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TKCGe2Ezr...

  5. yeah and you might need to start eating cereals that are rich in the vitamins meat supplies so you dont become malnurished!

  6. Depends. If you replace it with veggies, yes. If you eat a ton of fruit, no (but you won't gain weight). If you're interested in losing weight, exercise matters far more than diet.

  7. I lost weight when i cut out meat (especially pork).

  8. Being that there is more fat and calories in meat than the replacements you mentioned such as vegetables, fruit, or tofu, then I would assume you would lose weight. Make sure to keep in mind correct portion sizes as well. Just because you cut out meat doesn't mean you're going to lose weight.  There are plenty of high in calorie, high fat foods that would be considered vegetarian.

Good luck! I wish I didn't love red meat so much so I could join you : )
