i have rented a dvd and i would like to copy it. But it says that it's protected and will not let me copy it. Is there a way or software that i could copy it..

Most movie DVDs has copy protection, if you want to copy it to your hard disk, you must


decrypt thecopyright protected dvd first. Otherwise, Although you copy the *.vob files to


the hard disk, but most mediaplayers cann't it. My friends recommend me to use E.M. Free DVD

if you just want to copy the dvd i would use dvd shrink but if you also want to burn it on to a blank disk i would use dvd shrink to get the iso file and then bring the iso file in DVD Decrypter to burn on to a blank disk

Theres a DVD copy software called DVDFab Platinum. You can get a 30 day trial that has full function for the whole month.It shrinks it to fit a single layer DVD and burns it too  Alot of trials you get a watermark or only copies 30 min or something. This is like a 2 click DVD

there is software out there that will copy it...do a google searvh for dvd copy programs try a few  some will some won't.
