I don't like hair spray or moose or gel, stuff like that irritates my hair and annoys me. I don't have a straight iron for short male hair, though I will soon. School starts tomorrow and i'm desperate for hair help. I want straight hair. . .I want hair, pretty much EXACTLY how it looks in my Avatar Picture!

  1. blowdry with  a brush

and hold it against the blowdryer going down

its hard to explain but easier to show

  2. Be proud of what GOD HAS offered to you. Beauty is inside not on your hair or some where else. Just keep it clean.

  3. get ur straightener  and than take curl by curl from the bottom and straighten it easy as tht

  4. all you need is a straightening iron

  5. get a straightining iron or wear a straight wig

  6. I have curly hair, and I always wanted straight hair. It is extremely time consuming and it never looks exactly how you really want it to look. Especially when you have short hair.

I suggest that you learn how to style it curly.

However, I use a blow drier that has a straightening iron/comb attached at the end of it. It is a Con Air. I wish that I could remember the name. I have used a thousand flat irons, large barrel curling irons, and every product under the sun and this blow drier is so freaking awesome!!

The first time I used it I was really disappointed, but then I figured out the secret, and I come out of the shower with long wet curly hair and in about 25 minutes I have dry smooth straight hair and it minimizes damage! (The secret is to use the drier with one hand, and with the other hold the section of the hair being dried and maintain slow and steady tension so the hair doesn't blow away.)

You can't get away with out product. You should not use any hold or stiff product in straightened hair. I think it looks and feels gross, and it won't be silky or flowy or whatever. But you should use an anti frizz cream. Stay away from the serums. They NEVER work, ever.

But the creams are awesome. Just a little, spread it through your wet/towel dried hair. Even a tiny bit in dry hair. I use one that also is a heat protectant, to help minimize damage from the blow drier.

I never use spray or mousse. They don't work on curly or coarse hair. And you should be using a deep conditioner once a week. With curly hair usually comes dry hair. And styling damage strips your hair. You have to repair it. Healthy hair is beautiful hair.

You should learn to deal with it curly. I HATE gel because it is always crunch and hard and gross. But I have found the cure. If you put a tiny bit of really heavy duty gel (I like Got 2 b glued, or any kind of spiking glue) in your hand and mix it with your anti frizz cream/lotion and then gently scrunch it into your hair, and pull down your curls and style you hair and make sure it all ends up in your hair, you get soft control and no product feeling.

Last but not least, you might want to consider a "straight-perm" or a relax treatment at a salon. They work great, and help a lot, but it can be expensive and it can damage your hair.

Good luck, I hope this has been helpful
