I have sage walls in my study. Any suggestions for drape color?

The bookcases (2 each w/ five shelves) desk and storage cabinets (2) are light maple.

Office chair is black leather. Futon is also black.

I would recommend a neutral color since you have sage walls. I think a beige,tan, dark brown or white would look the best.

Natural linen  is always a good choice.  What color is your wood? If it's light....go with the linen. If it's medium...look at yellows or pale gold...if it's dark....go with warm greens, cranberry or  dark chocolate brown. If your furniture is black....

rust, eggplant, burgundy, cream would all look great (individually, not together!)

Boy, I think with the black chair and futon, and light maple furniture, I'd be inclined to look for eggplant.
