  1. We moved into a house with a harvest gold dishwasher UGH.

But. . . .it's a Kitchen Aide and works beautifully, so I bought

appliance paint, took off the front panel, gave it a couple of coats of spray & the thing still looks brand new!  I'd definitely recommend it.  But do buy Appliance Paint.  I think I got mine at KMart, but have seen it since in Lowe's.  Good luck!

  2. Paint it,use metal spray paint but first snd the frig a little so the color will hold well.

  3. Paint may not be the best idea because it may peel or chip, but you could try contact paper. You can get it in almost any color or pattern. They sell it in the housewares department at Wal-Mart or K-Mart, I bet they even have it at Home Depot or someplace like that. And it's removable, so if you change your mind it's no problem! Hope this helps.

  4. A fresh coat of (any metal-compatible)  spray paint to match your stove should spiff it up nicely.  Be careful with magnets, though, they will scratch the new paint easily.

  5. My fridge got kind of rusty so I went and picked out some contact paper (the sticky stuff that you line cabinets with) and it worked just fine. I need to do it again. It is not a permanent fix but it lasted for 5 years. They have some really cute designs or you could just get plain white or whatever color will match your new stove. It was fairly easy to put it on there also. I am not real crafty so if I can do it anyone can. Hope this helps.
