I have scene-ish hair, and I have an issue!?

Ok, I have a scene hair cut, and I've always been able to style it in the typical scene way, but every time I style it with the big poof hair on top and the thin straight hair on the bottom, I have never been able to keep it up that way.

I have used so much hair spray I think my lungs are permanently sprayed. I have used Bed Head h.s, Garnier, Herbal Ess. (the volume h.s) Aussi, and even Aqua Net.

Nothing works to keep my hair up for more than an hour.

I've teased and sprayed and teased and sprayed and pushed the hair up with my hands.

If you have scene hair, any tips? Or if you know a lot about hair pleeeeease help!

  1. You're probably not doing it right.Look up hair tutorials on YouTube.

  2. Try to stop doing the teasing for a couple of months. Your torturing your hair.

My friend's little sister has had scene hair for a straight 1 year and her hair is SO dead that it looks like she's going bald(she's only 14). So she has to wear extensions.

Don't let it get so bad to where you'll have dead hair.

Atleast let it have a break from the teasing.

And don't EVER do those coon tail hair dye stuff. Those are probably the most dumb looking things I've seen in my life when it comes to dyed hair.

I'm a little scene myself, but even I have my limits.

But if you want to keep your hair up, try some hair glue. It feel like real glue and should work on anybodies hair.

Also layer it. Start from the bottom and work your way up.

    Try this.

  3. to be honest bed head is a great brand, and if that doesn't work then i think you cant keep it up for that long,

maybe your hair is too think, try getting it thinned out a bit?

  4. Have you tryed using wax? and in my experience i find that the cheapest hairsprays work the best so go to a drugstore and buy some cheap stuff instead of bed head etc.

    Help?

  5. It pretty much always falls flat and you can't really stop it but theres a hairspray by BedHead called HardHead I think.

It works pretty good because it makes your hair STAY and its stiff.
