  1. It's quite simple to create a tongue twister. All you really have to do is to decide on the prefix of the 'twisting' words. For example, the sea shells has sh- as its twisting word and combines them with other prefixes that relatively sounds the same.

    F (Fa-long sounding vowel)

Phil flew Faff and Flo's Fawn to...!?!

Phil fax Feefy's folder for Fall....!?!

    Hm!

    What about..

    C (Ca-short sounding vowel)

Cammy couldn't call Kim at Carles Courthouse.

    ?!?!?!

Okay. Seems like I underestimated the simplicity of this.

Try using one already created. :)

  2. I slit a sheet, a sheet I slit,

I sit upon the sheet I slit.

I'm not the fig plucker, I'm the fig plucker's son,

But I'll pluck figs til the fig plucker comes.

Those have the potential to be a bit naughty if you mess it up though, so be careful if you're using in class...   ;-)

  3. Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers;

    A peck of pickled peppers Peter Piper picked;

If Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers,

Where's the peck of pickled peppers Peter Piper picked?

could neva say that 1 lol

    ooo also

"red lorry yellow lorry" or "black bugs blood"

  4. "I slit the sheet, the sheet I slit. Upon the slitted sheet I sit."

    "Ailing Alex asks for axes."

"One smart fellow, he felt smart.

Two smart fellows, they felt smart.

Three smart fellows, they all felt smart."

    "Irish wristwatch."

    "Unique New York."

"The sixth sheik's sixth sheep's sick."

"No shipshape ships shop stocks shop-soiled shirts."

"A tutor who tooted the flute

Tried to tutor two tooters to toot.

Said the two to the tutor,

'Is it harder to toot, or

to tutor two tooters to toot?'"

"A cupcake cook in a cupcake cook's cap cooks cupcakes."

"A big bug bit a bold bald bear and the bold bald bear bled blood badly."

You might not want to use the first three in case anyone messes up...but there are also plenty of other Tongue Twisters on the website named as my source.

Of course, if they are supposed to be original Tongue Twisters, then you can always use a thesaurus to change the words in a normal-sounding sentence, or you can just pick a letter and skim through the dictionary for words that start with it and form a sentence from there.
