I have scored 19 out of 25 in english,my rank came 6th and the highest marks were 22.Is 19 that good?

see in reading skills i got 7 and a half out of 8,which is the highest in my class.In writing skills I got 4 out of 6.In grammer i got 2 and a half out of 5,which is bad but the highest was 4.and in literature i got 5 out of 6.were have i gone wrong?is it my vocablory,my less studying for my exam or I am reading a wrong book for my age.By the way I am reading Fear street and i a week i will finish the whole collection,after i finish them what sort of books should i read and which author should i read to improve my english?.I am in 7th grade and my age is 12 and a half.HELP!!!!!

Apparently, your writing skills are below standard. based on your posting,I can understand why.Open spell checker pops up for me but you must have turned it off.You have disregarded grammar rules or failed to proofread. Pay more attention to your writing by keeping a journal and deliberately hone your writing. Challenge yourself by reading some of the classics by the old masters- Dickens, hawthorne, Shakespeare and others.Read different genres including poetry.You seem to be a bright 7th grader but you are careless and may be sitting on laurels.Get away from past achievements and make some new inroads in your life.
