I have seen a small yellow bodied, orange headed bird in my gsrden, does anyone know what it might be?

  4. The only two birds that I can come up with in my book of European birds are the Yelowhammer and the Goldcrest,there is another but it could be a wild guess and that is a Twite.

    As you are in Southern  region of Ireland it could be one from the American continent that has been blown your way dureing the recent storms that have blown across from there

    Now I have an idea that it could be a Canary cross Goldfinch mule and it has more than likely escaped from some ones cage or aviary the description fits perfect.
