I have seen some pictures of the houses in Bogota and looks like England, Is life in Bogota like England?

Is Bogota a rich city? Is Colombia a rich country? I never been there but I feel a bit curious and fells interesting about going to Bogota, feel like I want to visit Bogota to find out...Is Bogota (in terms of life, weather, safety etc) similar to the UK or is it different?

Well...Bogota is definitely not a rich city and neither is Colombia a rich country...life is actually very cheap here.

But it is definitely an amazing place to visit...the only thing i think resembles the UK is its weather, it can get very cold sometimes, since it's located on a mountain plain, but the rest of the country has a great climate, it's coastal cities are beautiful, such as Cartagena, Sta. Marta and Barranquilla...

There are lots of places to visit in Bogota; museums, malls, hundreds of restaurants, bars and clubs. You should definitely check it out...

There is a lot of Money in Bogota Colombia. I would say that life is VERY different from England although Bogota can have that bone chilling cold that pervades London sometimes. Most people in Bogota do NOT live in houses. They live in Apartments. The farther up the hill you live the more money you have, especially if you live above Car. 7 in the Usaquen area. I would totally reccomend that you go. I like the Bogota Plaza on Calle 100. The night life is great. Eat a Jaramillos and restaurant Renault at Parque 93. IF you want good Italilan eat at Amarti in Usaquen (Best salad bar in the world) Go to the top of the Colpatria tower, Go to Monserrate, Go to Zipaquira and see the Salt Cathedral. Go to Piedras de Tunja (Which arent in Tunja I might add) Go to Melgar and stay at the HOTEL KUALAMANA in Melgar. Have raspbado in Giradot. Visit the coast - get an Arepa Costena (delicious) Youll love the country and the people.
