I have sensitive ears...can I wear these earrings?

I got a cute pair of earrings from Nordstrom Rack for 9 USD. Before I bought these, I have been wearing the same pair of hypoallergenic earrings my pediatrician gave me when I got them pierced at her office. I clean them daily. The earrings say "Sterling Silver" and "Cubic Zirconia". I have pretty sensitive ears. Do you know if I'll be able to wear them?

  1. if they'r hypoallergenic you'll probably be fine.

  2. Unless you have an allergy to Sterling Silver or Nickel, then no, these earrings should be just fine. I waited a while after I got my ears pierced before I wore costume jewelry. As long as you use real yellow and white gold or sterling silver jewelry so soon after having your ears pierced, then you should be okay. Just stay away from the ones that are cheap and made solely out of nickel.

    Hope this helps you!   ☺

  3. If you havn't worn anything else since getting your ears pierced, then it's pretty hard to tell if another material will irritate your skin.

You should go ahead and try them, but make sure you sanitize them first. The worst that could happen is that your earlobes will itch and look a little irritated. Then you'll know you only take the real stuff!
