  1. Hi,

Once the group is created, then you would have got a group mail id to which you can post a mail that will be sent to all members of the group. One more thing, if your group is restricted entry , then u have to invite your people and they shd accept the invitation, then only it gets activated.

If you still need any clarification, do send a mail.

  2. I am not sure what you are asking.

Here is the Yahoo Help page for Group Owners:

    http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/groups/...

  3. When you post a message to the group, it is sent via email to all members who have their email delivery set at Individual Emails or Daily Digest.  The other members can read your message on the group site.

If you want to send emails to certain members individually, click on Members located on left side of group page.  Locate the member on the list, click the envelope icon underneath their name.  This will pull up a message page.  Complete it and click Submit.  It will go to that person and not be posted on group site.  You as group owner will also receive copy of that message.  You have to do this individually for each member you want to contact.

I suggest that you set up another personal profile and name it "Owner - your group name"  Enter your group's name where instead of "your group name".  After associating it with your group,  use that profile to send messages - they will recognize it as coming from the group and won't delete it thinking it might be spam.
