  1. How about wasp spray?  I don't think that will harm the hummingbirds

  2. You can insert bee guards on the spouts of your feeder.  They are designed to keep the bees, wasps and hornets away from the nectar. But still allow the hummers to get at it. The wasps, bees, and hornets  will soon find they can't get anything from the feeders and move on.

  3. don't get rid of the polinaters, it will ultimately hurt your and your neighbor's gardens.  you can try biological warfare.  order some praying mantis egg cases and hatch them outdoors near the feeders that you are having a problem with.  like i said though, don't get too froggy killing those polinaters or else your flower beds and flowering shrubs/fruit trees/etc will ultimately suffer.

  4. Bee guards, you can try these you should be able to get them at the local garden center.

Since you are a serious hummer fan I though you might like this site. I have been into hummingbirds for years and I didn't know there were four species in my state. Gave me inspiration to plant more flowers to attract the rest.
