I have several majesty palms?

i have several majesty palms my question is how can i get them to have that rich green color? again they all have new shoots on them what type of light .

High nitrogen is the key but nitrogen can burn a palm if your not careful. I would stick to the 8-6-6 general palm food, this is what we use in our wholesale nursery on all of our palms. However, from time to time to encourage a quick growth and healthy green look we will use a fertilizer urea that is 46% nitrogen. Nitrogen at this rate will burn a palm to death within a day if you don't do it right.

Make sure that you are using a fertilizer that is high in nitrogen. It is probably best to buy a palm fertilizer that runs something like 8-6-6. The first number is the nitrogen content and that's what makes the leaves green up. If your palms are indoors, make sure that they get enough light. majesty likes full or partial sun but will tolerate shade if it is outdoors. It loves humidity and does not fare well with dry indoor conditions. This is also a very stress sensitive plant so try not to hurt it's feelings. Many have died due to lack of attention, too much attention or just a bad day.
