  1. It is possibly gas, or it could be other things.  I would say just lay down and try to relax your body.  If the pain continues for a long period of time you might want to call your doctor to make sure everything is ok.

  2. yes i had this....and its because your tummy is stretching, now, assuming that this is not your first pregnancy. other babies would have stretched you too, but depending on the size of the babies, it would have happened differently.

i dont think you have anything to worry about, but it can be quite painful.

you could end up having a nice big baby :)

cos of where the pain is.......its stretching.... best of luck to u both :)

  3. sounds to me like ligament pains because of all the stratching and pulling on your ligaments..it is quite painful, i know..i had the same thing and i thought it was possibly labour but my midwife told me it would have been stretching pains and whatnot because its only on one side..

best of luck to you and your baby!!

  4. Yes, Jennie O, hit in on the nose.  The pain you are having is only due to your uterus stretching.  But if this is a real concern to you call your doctor.  But I don't think you have anything to worry about.  I have 5 kids and the belly button area seems to be a popular spot for you to experience stretching pains.  Good Luck!!

  5. Sharp pains as in stabbing? Or way down low on the sides? This could be round ligament stretching. Call your doctor and report it. He'll ask if there's any bleeding or discharge. Probably nothing, but be safe.

  6. Could be gas although that is usually a crampy pain or stretching, you get all kinds of aches and pains while pregnant..
