The maverick West Indian opener, Chris Gayle, has expressed deep distress over the humiliating treatment meted out to him by West Indies Cricket Board (WICB), claiming that he has served his national cricket for many years and no one should question his
commitment.
Gayle has also lashed out at the WICB for the ‘mind games’ they are playing with him. He believes that his national cricket authorities seems to be least interested in mending ties with him.
The legendry batsman is of the view that his loyalty is being questioned despite him playing his heart out for the Caribbean side.

On the issue of WICB’s continuous insistence that Gayle needs to apologise to the board's high-ups for his uncanny remarks against them, the batsman told in anger, “I think they (WICB) are playing mind games with me. I have told them that I want to focus
on winning this tournament for Jamaica and I will deal with the apology issue at the end of this competition."
Gayle, who is currently leading his home side, Jamaica, in the ongoing domestic tournament, Regional Super50 Series, avows that the board is lingering on the issue for unnecessarily.
The dashing batsman has been out of his national team since the end of the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/ICC-World-Cup-2011-c100625 Cricket World Cup 2011, thanks to his controversial participation in the Indian Premier League 4 (IPL).
The 32-year-old left-hander has played 91 Tests, 228 ODIs and 20 T20Is so far since his International debut in 1999.
