  1. it is simple, who gave you the visa? if it comes from a consulate of a country you want to visit? and you personally applied for it? it is real, if not? fake....

  2. Do you mean you want to check whether it is a real or fake visa? If it was issued by a Schengen embassy/consulate/high commission/other governemnt representation then it is real. If it was not issued by one of these examples, it is most probably fake. The following countries are Schengen members: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Slovakia and Slovenia. If your visa was not issued by one of these governments it is most probably fake.

Also note that Monaco, San Marino and the Vatican City are all not members of the Schengen travel area but all have open borders with Schengen members, thus making them defacto members. However, the previous 3 countries do no issue Schengen visas and are not officially connected to the Schengen Area.

If you are in doubt, check with the visa's issuing government's embassy/consulate for clarification.

  3. i am also planning to apply for Shengen visa to visit Spain.  Spain requires me to go to the embassy. One travel agent told me that "he will make a flight itinerary to enter in one country and get the visa . Then you can go any country that is not a problem.  I do not trust him.  Is this the same way you got your visa? Is this a legitimate way if Spain is the only destination and my point of entry?

  4. Only embassy can tell.
