I have show shirts but no collars, what do I do?

I have been showing for years now and have a nice collection of show shirts. But over the years I have seemed to misplaced some of the collars that match with my favorite shirts. There may be a slim chance for me on this question, but is there anywhere that sells just collars? or does anyone know if I can buy a matching collar online somewhere?

Try a tack store, but I would have to say your best bet is to get a new shirt =(

Some tack stores sell them, also did you check ebay? I sewed some myself when i lost them.

I have actually shown without a collar (lower level hunters) and did fine. I lost my collar the day of the show so there really wasnt any other option besides scratching.

I heard you can call the makers of the shirt and buy new collars directly from them. They tend to be pricy though. There is also no quarentee that they still make the collar to match your  type of shirt. Its worth a try.

I also have a mismatched show shirt/collar. My collar is white and my show shirt is blue. You can buy white ones and try and find a dye to dye one if possible. I tried it..It didn't turn out the color I wanted because the color of the show shirt was light blue and the dye was navy blue.

You can also try to find one on ebay or craigslist. Even a local tack store. Horseloverz.com also sells show shirt collars..Look under show shirts and you can see them.

I loose mine all the time! They are all different colors, too. I just show without them- Even in the A's, the judges aren't staring at your neck searching to see your pin and collar. We pin great, so I know the judges don't mind. If In emergency, show without one. Put a pin on the shirt inbetween the two bottons on the neck without your collar, and it will look ok. And, if you are doing hunters, they can't penelize you. Go to your tackshop and look for a similar collar and ask to buy it.
