I have signed up to a local yahoo group and i cannot see the posts. how do i fix this?

i have just recently joined yahoo groups. I am a member of a group and when i sign in i cannot see the 'posts'. i get emails from people who are also signed up but i seem to be viewing a different home page. Can anyone help?

lower your security settings  some

the archives (posts) on the group may be closed to members- if that is the case, the group expects you to have individual mail
