Question:

I have sleeping trouble.....?

Ever since school ended, i have been sleeping late, it became from 3 am, to 7 am, i stay awake non stop, and i just can't help but to stay awake, so school is about to start in about a week for me, and i reaaallly need some tips and advice on how to slowly loose this problem and start sleeping at atleast 12am?

  1. Stop reading etc., at least 2 hours before you want to sleep, have a warm bath to relax you, and maybe have some horlicks, its a powdered drink, like milo or nesquik etc., you have it with warm milk before you go to bed if that doesnt help, you can find a herbal tablet called valerian its a ground up root from some tree and it does help, if none of these work, visit your gp and they maybe able to help you more, hope I've helped, goodluck! :)


  2. Honestly I don't think Tylenol pm is recommended for someone as young as you. But Ive had insomnia since i was about 6. the only thing (besides drugs that doctors gave me and nyquil) that has helped me is a tea, it is made by Celestial Seasonings and its the Sleepy Time Tea kind.

  3. i had the same prob, cept i only stayed up to 4 am tops, and school is starting soon and if you wanna get rest for ur first day...take a tynelol pm 30 minutes before the time you wanna go to sleep, or a benedryl, thats what ive been doin and with gettin up so early for school, i pretty much go to sleep on my own now at 11 cuz im so exhausted from sports and zero period. after one or two times, with ur school schedule you wont need the pills anymore

  4. If I were you i would sleep at 8;00pm that way you can try to sleep for lets say 3 hours that way you will sleep at maybe 11;00 pm .    

  5. You might not want to sleep because one of these reasons:

    1. You are hungry

    2. You forgot to do something and your brain is trying to tell you about it

    3. You are not feeling well

    4. You are guilty about something or sad about something

    If you wanna get some sleep, Sleep at 9pm (unless u have to wake up early). Any later, and your body would get tired and it would be harder for u to sleep.
